teuchters bar is a freehouse in edinburgh’s west end well known as a venue for rugby fans travelling to & from murrayfield. tucked away on william street, it’s a hidden gem popular with locals & only a 5 minute saunter from both haymarket station & princes street.
the pub is centred around the large whisky selection which includes around 90 single malts, 20-odd international & blended whiskies & our hoop of destiny: a game of hoopla with malt whisky as the prize, pop in for full details! teuchters also has a great choice of predominantly scottish beers: 4 permanent & 1 guest cask ales, 2 rotating guest & 9 permanent keg lines as well as bottled beers from williams brothers, innis & gunn & many others. there’re also wines, soft drinks, gins, rums & much more.
food is served 7 days a week from 10.30am right through until 10pm. breakfast starts from 10.30am & runs until 12.30pm monday to saturday & until 2.30pm on a sunday. the rest of the bar food menu begins at midday and ends at 10pm. it includes burgers, dogs, pies, chips, a deli menu & the mug menu: classic scottish dishes like cullen skink & haggis, neeps & tatties served in mugs.
